Spurred On squared off against Kanonguttene in the International League Cup. It looked like a good match-up, but it was clear already at half-time (3-1) that Spurred On was setting it's sights on claiming The Double this season. And claim it they did. T. Huddlestone was named man of the match after an impressive performance on the field. The game ended 5-2. Congratulations to Spurred On and Mr Jolly G Reaper on winning The Double this season.

Norway
Simple minds faced the real snakes in the Norwegian League Cup final. It quickly became apparent that this was going to be a one-sided match as simple minds came away with a comfortable lead of 4-1 after 45 minutes. The second half was more or less uneventful as simple minds secured the victory after returning from the halftime to set up the final result of 5-1. Congratulations to simple minds and Grabben on the win.

Sweden
Kvantumshuset IK came into the game as league champions, and set their sights on The Double right from the get-go. By half-time, they had a comfortable 1-3 lead over Queens PR, and pretty much kept up the pressure and continued to add to final result until full time, at which point the score was sat comfortably at 1-6. Congratulations to Kvantumshuset IK and From Ashes Mike.

England
Another League Cup game that was decided already at half-time was the final between Kingstonian and Malajonny United. Kingstonian came out had and had the final result of 4-0 ready already after 45 minutes. Gerald Chase scored a hattrick and came away as the Man of the Match. Congrtatulations to manager Hampton and Kingstonian on their cup victory.

Romania
DINAMO13 seemed to pull away from the start of this game, but KraMMer Team somehow managed to keep themselves only one goal behind most of the way, making it an exciting final. KraMMer Team's Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin scored a hattrick and was singlehandedly responsible for giving DINAMO13 a run for their money, but Man of the Match is probably only a mild comfort when Andox and DINAMO13 started celebrating as the referee whistled full time. The game ended 5-4. Congratulations to DINAMO13.

Spain
SUPERMICRO got a break after only 4 minutes played, and managed to score. It was their only chance the entire game, but they defended that goal for 85 minutes to take home the League Cup trophy. Real Puchela CF kept pushing, but in the end came up empty. Congratulations to SUPERMICRO on his League Cup title.

Portugal
Lipmanel FC faced off against Alcagolitas, and it was a furious match. None of the teams were giving an inch, and cards were flying left and right from the referee. A fateful tackle in the 90th minute got Oluf Utzon his 2nd yellow card and he was sent off. Alcagolitas into overtime with only 10 men, and Lipmanel FC managed to get the deciding goal in. Congratulations to Tom Bombadil and Lipmanel FC on the League Cup victory and for taking The Double home in season 39.

Poland
CzarneKoszule came into the game as League Champions and seemed determined to go for The Double this season. And go for it they did. Kopytko started trailing, and eventually ended up coneding the game 4-1, Congratulations on grabbing The Double to ny1900 and his CzarneKoszule.

USA
You could say that ALLTHEWAY went all the way this season, as they managed to edge out March of the Flames FC in a game that ended 5-4 in favour of ALLTHEWAY. Congratulations to the coach, JWICK, on his fine achievement.

Argentina
INDEPENDENTE SANTA FE squared off against the Argentinian KneeBreakers in a game that ended up lasting a full 130 minutes. Exhausted players were taking turns shooting penalties in the end, but as the final penalty was shot and INDEPENDENTE SANTA FE realized they'd won the game 6-5, their energy returned for a massive celebration. Congratulations to INDEPENDEDNTE SANTA FE and JAB on winning the League Cup and also taking home The Double this season.

Australia
Galacticos came into the game full of confidence after winning the league, and their opponent, Newcastle Blue Star, never really got into the game, as Galacticos came away with a convincing 4-0 win in the League Cup to secure not only the Cup, but also delight their fans by winning The Double in season 39. Congratulations to GrannyRobo and Galacticos on their achievement.

Croatia
Panjevi and Stenjevec faced off in the Croatian League Cup. Stenjevec tried to hold on, scoring 2 goals, but in the end Panjevi were too strong and walked away with the victory. Congratulations to Gjuro and Panjevi on winning the Croatian League Cup.

Brazil
Tuil united and Hard Soccer went at it in the League Cup final this season, and it was a game that could go either way almost to the end. Ferlipao led Hard Soccer well, and in the end they drew the longest straw, coming away with a very satisfying 2-3 win. That also means Hard Soccer managed to secure The double this season as well. Congratulations to Felipao and Hard Soccer on this great achievement.

Italy
After coming in second in the Italian league, SS Lazio were out to prove themselves in the League Cup. They seemed to let the defence slack a bit while they concentrated a massive amount of fire-power at PFC CSKA Sofia's goal, scoring a total of 6 goals, while conceding 3 in the process. Congratulations on the 3-6 victory for don pinos S S Lazio, and on becoming the Italian League Cup Champions.

Malaysia
MFA FC met Crystal Palace in the final game and clearly the motivation to bring home The Double ignited Crystal Palace from the start. It was never really a question of who would come away with the victory in this game as Dominique lead his team to a comfortable and convincing 1-5 win, thus securing The Double in season 39. Congratulations to Dominique and Crystal Palace on the impressive win.

Turkey
Another Double was won in the Turkish league, as Gallipoli took home the League Cup this season. Kappadokia FC tried valiantly to keep themselves in the game, but in the end, it was just not enough. Congratulations to Mattinn and Gallipoli FC on The Double in Turkey.

Holland
SC Heervereen and The Evil Looking Clowns finished 6th and 7th in the Dutch league, and should seemingly be evenly matched. It soon became apparent that this was not the case, as The Evil Looking Clowns disintegrated the opposing defense to score a total of 7 goals to finish off the game 1-7. This was the highest amount of goals scored in a Cup Final this season. Congratulations to sebas and The Evil Looking Clowns on the Dutch League Cup win.

Belgium
The Indomitable Gauls came in second in the Dutch League, and were out deny SPEERs finest The Double this season, but unfortunately, the League winner proved to be too strong for the Indomitable Gauls this season. SPEERs finest won by two goals in a game that was far from goal-less. The end result of 3-5 ensured that SPEER and SPEERs finest can bask in the glory of The Double until the end of next season. Congratulations on a great achievement.

Denmark
Kaiser Soze and his Reservoir Dogs had their sights set on the Double, and the double they got. Pitted against b-og-b – kbh-nv-, it was a fairly close game, but one goal is all it takes to win, and the Reservoir dogs came away with the 2-3 goal victory this season, thus taking home the Double. Congratulations to Kaiser Soze and his Reservoir Dogs.
